They're Definitely Up To Something

Catch a glimpse of this, and a quote from the estimable Ms. Montgomery may flit through your head. Or at least, a simplified version thereof.

“I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string.”  ― L.M. Montgomery

Aw.

But be not deceived, my friends. Beneath the surface of these smiling children lurks mischief. And danger. And out-and-out hooliganism.

Would someone please call the socialization police? Don't these kids know that it's just not cool for an eleven-year-old boy to relish goofing off with his little sister? Please, people! It's not normal!

Signed,
Their Worried Mother

  3. Love it, the times when the kids are having fun together are the absolute best! Is asking that it be that way all the time to much?:) and love the quote....so true!

  6. Hahahahaha. Your kids are too cute. And that love between them is too genuine to destroy.

  7. Amelia - Amen to LM Montgomery! I still remember our shared love of Anne (and Emily) being one of the first things we bonded over (over which we bonded, I suppose). I think it's time for a re-read! :-)
